The Rare Diseases Desk of the UOC Laboratory of Medical Genetics, San Camillo-Forlanini Hospital, aims to offer valid support to the patient suffering from rare pathology and to his family, in the identification of the Structures involved in the diagnostic-assistance paths of the various pathologies as well as than to provide the necessary information regarding administrative procedures related to rare diseases.
To achieve this goal, the Rare Diseases Desk, in constant collaboration with patient associations, makes use of a company and inter-company network as well as collaborative relationships with the main national and international Reference Centers.
