THE LIQUID BIOPSY

Liquid biopsy is a test that require taking blood, from which plasma is extracted free circulating DNA (cfDNA, cell free DNA). The investigations that are conducted aim the study of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA, circulating tumor DNA) searching for genetic mutations capable of conferring sensitivity or resistance to so-called "molecular target" drug therapies.
